Lots of visitors

We had lots of visitors this weekend. Yesterday, our friends Amy and Pat came over with their kids. Little Julia couldn't get enough of holding Elliott and she even read him a book. He was more interested in all of the people than the book I think. It's so cute to see how intently he looks at each new person when they hold him. The world must be such an interesting place for a little guy like him... everything is exciting and new.

Today, our friend Carrie came over to see Elliott before she heads back to LA. We took advantage of the nice day to get some fresh air. Elliott hid out under his hat while the adults soaked up some sun. We need it after this long winter!

Other highlights of Elliott's 5th week included hanging out with Dad when he came home from work in the evening...

...and tummy time. You can't totally see it here, but Elliott has a very strong neck and can already hold his head up for a pretty long time. Way to go, little man!

All that hard work makes him tired though and he generally ends tummy time by taking a rest on the activity mat. Look how blue his eyes look next to the blue mat!
