Can I get lunch now?

Twelve hours ago we started the first of our many sleepless nights to come. 

We're doing well here in the hospital room. Liz and I were walking the halls about an hour ago and she's amazingly calm. The nurses and doctors keep saying she looks extremely relaxed for being in labor. 

She just received her feel-no-pain drugs and is resting now with the lights dim. Neal and Susan are packing up for a Baltimore-to-Boston road trip to meet their first grandchild. My family is checking in and getting frequent text updates...and the dogs are running around in their grandparent's backyard. Needless to say, we're all very excited. 

I'm pretty confident it's a boy.
